Contemporary Istanbul is an established art fair with more than 15 previous editions. It has quickly become a very popular event, with around 75,000 visitors  during the 4 days of general admission. It attracts approximately 85 galleries and 650 artists from Turkey and the rest of the world.

The show is the premier contemporary art show for the country. It takes place in September in the cosmopolitan city of Istanbul – the meeting point of Europe and Asia. Contemporary Istanbul truly aims to be the leading platform for a growing art scene in this part of the world, an encouragement for collectors, dealers and the artists themselves.
