At first sight, one is fascinated by the power in Khakdan’s paintings but what remains after becoming visually familiar with his work is the attempt to the transfer his personal themes and interpretations. To the avail of a language that is barely present in our historical memory, he then leaves the memoirs of an emigration for us.
