With the exhibition Le gymnasium sacre , Sam Samiee creates a place where visual culture and poetry come together. The titles of works, sometimes short poems, are clearly part of the same works and cannot exist independently of each other. The words give the image a direction, and the paintings are in turn a way to shape thoughts and ideas. The landscapes, myths, poems and images that make up the work are thus brought together and bound together under the title Le gymnasium sacre.
