Shirin Gallery is proud to unveil a solo exhibition of Marziye Ghasempour titled Revolving Play.
Marziye Ghasempour, born in Brojen, Iran 1988, has BA in painting from Neishabour art University and MA in painting from Tarbiat Modares University Tehran. Parallel to painting, Marziye is an active instructor at Neishabour Art University and Farhangian University Tehran. It is notable to mention she has participated in the jury board in many art contests. She had many group exhibitions, and revolving play is her second solo exhibition.
As the artist says: ”What we called life, was a scene that handcuffs attached to our hands and feet were twisted and danced… With the red ball on the tip of the nose, sometimes on a wooden horse or in the form of pieces of chess game… abandoned on black and white squares.”
