Statement:

In this exhibition, Elham Etemadi presents a new series of canvases, focusing on the theme of human existence and the need for a fantasy world in which to live. She believes that we can bring our fantasies to life and then inhabit the worlds we create.///

In this series, Elham emphasizes the emotional situations that humans face in their lives. For her, painting and each brushstroke serve as a means of communication between herself and her audience.

The issue of signs in connection with animal-human, human-human, and animal-animal relationships seems to be a topic worthy of discussion. Animals always leave signs of their existence through colors, patterns, and more.

Their interactions with death are sometimes prominent and selective. Behaviors and responsibilities place the footprints of both humans and animals in the same range, blurring the boundary between the two and equating the animal to "inhumanity".

These works offer a review and a new definition of humanity. They present a confrontation between humanity and inhumanity, a process that also involves observing the position of the man himself and gaining a deeper understanding of his place after leaving familiar situations.

In Elham's pieces, each painting is an abstract self-portrait of today's world, where different dimensions and realms continuously collide.

I have been following Elham Etemadi for many years and I'm excited to exhibit her work for the second time in Tehran after its successful presentations in Paris, Basel, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Dubai.

There is an energy and strength in Elham's work. I love the action and amazing brushstrokes in each work. I'm delighted with this collaboration.
