Statement:

The exhibition “ Earth and Materials ” brings together the modern and powerful creations of three talented Iranian artists who have made earth and materials the fundamental basis of their work.

The earth masterfully sculpted by the hands of Morteza Khosravi, the canvas woven and painted by Maryam Abedi in the style of ancient tapestries, sober and sophisticated, and finally, the threads, nets and transparent and delicate fabrics worked in geometric collage by Shahla Hosseini, minimalist and intense.

These artists, each in their own way, pay homage to the nobility and delicacy of the earth and the materials that they highlight in their work. Works that carry within them the echo of the universe and of life.
