Statement:

If we define nature as “what has been formed without human intervention,” given the fact that there is no place on earth that is immune to this intervention, we must admit that there is no longer a reality called “nature.” It simply does not exist. But it is clear that abandoning this concept would be an extreme reaction to the situation.

Human activities are part of the natural world, although in the general definition, they make sense in contrast to nature. In this regard, it is not unreasonable to expect to leave the urban space on a holiday as entering “nature.”

There are elements of human presence in nature, although in the past we could see a greater correspondence between our living environment and nature.

What seems to have upset this harmony is the appearance of an update that is taking over the outer space of cities. I do not want to look at it from the perspective of an environmental activist.

The purpose of this series is to show nature along with all the influences we have had on it. Influences that present a different picture of the present age, even if we turn the camera in a direction free of these effects. All photos were taken between 2016 and 2020 and within a range of 200 km away from Tehran.
