Today's Cafe - Online Viewing
Group Show

10 Mar - 10 Mar, 2023

Statement:
With the passage of time and along with social developments in the country, Iranian cafés have undergone fundamental changes. In the past, cafés used to be the favorite haunt of political and literary figures, where enlightenment and social discussion took place.

With the increase in the popularity of cafés in the 2010s, this urban space welcomed new functions. It seems today’s cafés are more than just a place for romantic and friendly dates or simply entertainment and have become a place for carrying out daily tasks.

For some going to a café is a way of life that gives them the opportunity to be away from the hustle and bustle of daily life or have new experiences with like-minded people. In the upcoming collection, which was taken in the late 2010s, we tried to analyze the small part of cafés and cafés dwellers in Tehran.
