3 x 3 = three CURATORS for three ARTISTS is the title of the exhibition by Emanuele Dragone , Fabio Mariani and Benyamin Zolfaghari set up at the headquarters of the TRAleVOLTE cultural association in Rome. The exhibition project – curated by Michela Becchis , Maila Buglioni and Ivan D'Alberto – is the result of a collaboration between the Roman space and YAG/garage, an art gallery in Pescara.The title immediately offers indications on how the exhibition was conceived, i.e. according to a "laboratory" logic which allowed the three curators, with very different training, professional experience and working methods, to choose three artists belonging to disciplinary fields and similarly different research paths.///

The idea of ​​the “exhibition experiment” aims to have a “multiplier” effect both in critical and artistic terms. The exhibition was born from the chance encounter of three authors who, with their own proposals, will be able to activate aesthetic, narrative and conceptual dialogues useful for fueling visual experiences that were not defined at the beginning of the planning phase.The approach put in place by the three curators will aim to "collect" theoretical-critical reflections that will emerge only after the exhibition has been set up. To reinforce this modus operandi also the decision of the three curators not to write about the work of the artists that they have not chosen personally but to focus attention on their own. At the end of the exhibition it will be interesting to reflect on the considerations of those who will visit the exhibition and the three curators will be able to verify how the multiplier effect has materialized.
