Museum Dhondt Dhaenens
On 30 November 1968 the Dhondt-Dhaenens museum was opened in building designed by architect Erik Van Biervliet. The couple Jules and Irma Dhondt-Dhaenens took the initiative in 1967 to set up a museum building in Deurle in the middle of a residential area. Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens does not want to limit itself to one single type of trend but is open to the diversity that exists in the contemporary art world.
only combination tickets are available during the biennial of painting, granting access to the three biennial exhibitions at Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, the Museum of Deinze and the Leie Region, and the Roger Raveel Museum.
