The eighth edition of the Vintage Photo Festival, also known as The International Festival of Analogue Photography Lovers, will be held in Poland from September 23 to October 2, 2022. This annual event is considered to be the only photo festival in Poland and also the first international festival that has provided exhibitions, meetings, and educational workshops in the field of analog photography for those interested in this medium.

About Vintage Photo Festival

Today, despite the tremendous developments in the field of digital photography, many young artists tend to use traditional photography processes to express their narrative; especially in recent years, when the use of photographic films has become popular again. Therefore, this festival was launched in 2015 with the aim of reviving and promoting analog photography, and since then Katarzyna Gebarowska, a photographer, curator, and researcher in the field of history of photography, is managing it. The idea of establishing this festival is derived from the rich traditions of photography in the city of Bydgoszcz, Poland, where in the 1990s, the country's second and largest factory in the field of producing photographic materials under the trademark of Foton was located there.
