Joel Meyerowitz Retrospective Show at Galeria Alta

Galeria Alta in Anyós, Andorra hosts Joel Meyerowitz's retrospective entitled "License to See" from January 1  to April 21, 2022. As one of the first defenders of color photography, Meyerowitz has had a key role in changing the attitudes toward the use of color photography and its global acceptance. Two of his most important early shows were held at   Eastman House in Rochester in 1966 and "My European Trip" at the    Museum of Modern Art, New York   in  1968. He is one of the pioneers of street photography and, during decades of his artistic practice, he has captured many photos from the busy streets of New York City to the quiet corners of Italy.
