Chennai Photo Biennale was founded by the CPB Foundation and Goethe-Institute-Chennai in 2016 as a public arts initiative in response to the growing interest in photography in India, specifically in Chennai. In 2019 the second International photography festival across venues in Chennai that will showcase the works of over 150 artists from across the world.
