Goxe-Belaisch Enghien-les-Bains holds an auction for ancient and modern photographs on 21 September 2022. The sale, entitled "Ancient and Modern Photographs- Invitation to Travel" features 300 lots including rare and ancient photographs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The title refers to the urge of photographers in recording images of places such as Greece, Italy, the Mediterranean Basin, Egypt, and the Near East, places which were at the center of public attention and interest in the 19th century.

This auction features printed and signed photographs by the names such as Henry Cammas, Félix Teynard, Bertram Park, and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
