Taher Pourheidari is a contemporary painter who represents urban views and buildings focusing on urban worn and old houses.
He was born in Rafsanjan and has created most of his works based on his birthplace. He got his bachelor's degree in painting from Shahed University and his master's degree in the same field from Tehran University of Art. He graduated in 2011.

With constructive and realist approaches to the architecture of new and old buildings, Pourheidari depicts urban everyday life and traditional cities in his paintings. There are no human figures in his works; the artist only focuses on the direct relation between viewers and urban spaces.
Becoming the selected artist of the fifth edition of "Montakhab-e Nasl-e No" at Homa gallery in 2010, he had his first solo show entitled "Nezam Abadi" there in 2011.
From 2012 to 2020 in addition to participating in group shows, he showcased his works in several solo shows including "Elegance Bride", "Present Perfect" "Tehran, 1396" and "Houses and Trees" all at Homa gallery. He also had another solo show called "Tehran's Pine" at Narenj gallery, Shiraz. Homa gallery also showcased his new works at the Tir Art in 2020.
