“The word Abrakan has been used a lot in the titles of their works. Continuing until now, Peybak displays its mental domain in these works by showing a non-place and non-time world.“
Peyman Barabadi and Babak Alebrahim Dehkordi (both were born in 1984) are working together under the common title of "Peybak". Peybak is mostly well-known for depicting imaginative creations in non-place and non-time spaces.
Barabadi and Alebrahim got to know each other in the school of fine arts and decided to make an artistic group called "Peybak". These two always start creating an artwork together and work simultaneously on different parts of that; under the agreement they decide to finish the piece. According to what they say Persian poetry, mythology and miniature have an influence on their works.

Peybak first exhibited his works in 2013 in a group show on violence at Sin Gallery. In these works, small and delicate figures were depicted in vertical and horizontal rows next to each other. In 2014, Peybak participated in two group shows in France, and in 2015, took part in the Fiac art fair and Contemporary Istanbul.
Peybak also held his first solo show entitled "Abrakan's Room" in 2015 at Dastan's Basement. The word Abrakan has been used a lot in the titles of their works. Continuing until now, Peybak displays its mental domain in these works by showing a non-place and non-time world.
During 2016- 2018, Peyback's works were showcased at different art fairs such as Armory Show and Artgeneve by Galerie GP & N Vallois. In 2017 this gallery held a solo show named "Abrakan: Eclat" in Paris. In the works of this show, Peybak's wonders of creatures were depicted in compact compositions with great delicacy and the other ones in the form of volume and sculpture. The fourth Peybak solo show was named "Zahouk" which was held at Dastan's Basement in 2018; this was an installation including some paintings, one animation, and three volumetric artworks. In some paintings of this show, the creations were reiterated by engraving or volume, on the frame of the other paintings.
Dastan's Basement exhibited an installation of peybak's paintings at the Tir Art in 2019. Peybak presented an installation of paintings and volumes in the "XA LA" solo show at Dastan's Basement in 2020. Creatures of these volumes were created bigger and more realistic.
