The paintings in this collection are nocturnal tales that i heard from the old trees on sidewalks around the city: they are observations of the personal experiences of the trees that have encountered he transforming collective spirit of the citizens. at nighttime, every tree turns into an anonymous creature under the red, green, or blue light. in this nighty rhythm, the city's dynamic mind wants to inject a sense of renewal into the lives of passers by, but the concept of each tree that stands on the margins of out lives has taken root in out memories: and so have our recollections, in the soul of each tree. Here, the street is blue. The night is multicolored. and for the bird that used to rest above that plane tree, night is no longer night.
